Welcome sweet girl to this big beautiful world. You joined big brother Nic on March 4th because you couldn’t wait any longer and I don’t blame you! Now since we live so far away, it’ll be a while before we’ll get to meet but I sent you a few things in the mail and I hope you like them.
My dearest friends Cindy and Dan just welcomed this beautiful little girl and I couldn’t be more excited. You see, Cindy was a lot like I was. We were not having kids. We liked the stability of being with our best friend and the independence of not having any children. Then, like with so many, a tragedy struck that made us change our minds.
We both got the same reaction when we announced we were pregnant. You know the one, that stunned silence and nervous laughter. Not that our friends weren’t so excited and happy, they just never thought they’d here those three words ever coming out of our mouths. I am pregnant!
Fast forward to today and now we both have two beautiful children and wouldn’t change it for the world.
Now because I live so far away, it’s hard to show how excited and happy I am and since I usually just make something, I decided to continue that trend.
For when Cindy was pregnant with Nic, I threw her a baby shower and made her this cake.
I made baby Nic a quilt for when he was born. You can see it here.
And for Camille, I made her these cookies and got her some adorable clothes.
Welcome to the world sweet girl, I can’t wait to meet you!
Thanks for looking!
So pretty and colorful! Such a wonderful way to welcome a new baby!
