First Birthday Cookies–For Hartley Grace

IMGP9773

So I’m back from Vegas and had an absolutely fabulous time.  Nope not telling!

But last week before I left I made a few cookies.  It was an ask and you shall receive kind of thing, at least for my friend Linda.

Linda sent me this picture, it was the plate the party was being themed around.

Wow, that’s a lot of colour!  Ok…so I make a bit of royal icing.  Rowan felt it should be photographed as the rainbow.  Yes dear ;)

Hey Karen, can they be different types of cookies too?  Vanilla, Chocolate, Chocolate Chip and could you throw in a few Gluten Free too?

You bet :)

Oh, and the gluten-free!

My hand was cramped by the time I was done but the cookies were so bright and cheery, how could I not smile!  Plus I have a ton of left over dough, so expect lots of cookie posts.

I also received the sweetest email from Hartley’s grandmother thanking me for making the GF cookies so she could partake in the fancy cookies too!  Well, it was my pleasure.  To be honest, my Abby loves the GF cookies more than my regular, so as you can imagine they are really tasty!

Thanks for looking!

  2. Welcome back! I'm loving all the bright colours in these cookies and I see you have that beautiful plaque cookie cutter (so jealous). You've probably shown it before but I may have forgotten.

Little Hartley and all her birthday guests are going to enjoy making short work of all your hard work!
