Super Easy Bunny Cookies

bunny

Like these?  I show you how over at The Frugal Girls.  Heidi asked if I’d share an easy Easter idea and this is what I came up with.  Head on over and check it out.

Easter Egg Cookies

We’ve come to Florida for spring break to hang with my mum.  We also going to spend some time with friends from Ottawa.  Ken and Gail are parents to a very good friend and they became my surrogate parents when I moved to Ottawa from Toronto and we try to see them when we visit.  They live about 30 minutes from my mum.

I’ve written about Gail before.  She’s had two recipes shared here.  The blackberry unleavened cake and French Canadian Tortiere.

When I told Gail we were coming down she invited us over for lunch.  Then I got a quick email asking if cookies were coming.  Yes, I got the hint!

Here’s what I made.

Easter Cookies

Short and simple post today.  I won’t be home for Easter but found the cutest cutters at Michaels and wanted to use them.  So I made some cookies for the girls.  The girls got to decorate cookies too with the somewhat over cooked mini’s I also baked this week.

We’ve all done it, multi-tasking sometimes doesn’t work in your favour.  OOOPS!  They still tasted great!

Once I composed myself and a day passed, I made these:
