I finally got around to using my new Cuisinart ice-cream maker. A fat free, gluten free, sadly not calorie free, but tasty non-the-less, dark chocolate sorbet!
Recipe: Taken from Bake At 350 and loved by all my minions!
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup dark chocolate cocoa powder
Directions:
- Mix sugar and water together and heat on medium-high heat.
- Once dissolved, add cocoa powder and bring to bowl.
- Simmer for 3 minutes whisking constantly.
- Stick into fridge for 2 plus hours
- Follow instruction on your ice cream maker, it took 15 minutes for mine.
- Stick sorbet back into freezer until ready to use, it firms up in 20 or so minutes. Although the kids liked it right out of the ice-cream maker :)
- Enjoy! really!
As you can see by this face, she really really enjoyed!
Thanks for looking!
