Treat Day Wednesday–Mummies on a stick

Well, we are getting close to the big ole’ Halloween!  My kids are super excited. Rowan is going as a fairy and I’m working on that costume as we speak.  Abby wants to go as a zombie, so I need to work on that next.  I’ll probably have a few Halloween treats because they love this holiday probably above all others.

Today I made mummies on a stick.  Super easy and fun.  I used Crescent roll dough again and used my person cookie cutter and stacked two together with a popsicle stick between them.  I baked for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.

I then took white candy bark that I melted and drizzled over the top of the mummies, to make them a little more realistic.  I added eyes.  I used black and white scull candies I had in the pantry.  Then for more fun I used Martha Stewart’s Halloween molds and airbrushed them a little to give some creepier looks.
